City of Darlington Fire Department

Serving Darlington Since 1880, The Darlington Fire Department has a rich history of service to the community.  Eight former Darlington firefighters are enshrined in the South Carolina Firefighters Hall of Fame.  Current Fire Chief Jim Stone has served continuously for 43 years.  DFD has seven full-time employees and 21 volunteer firefighters.  The Fire Department is located at 301 Orange Street and can be reached at 843-398-4013.  To Report a fire call 911.
